US President Trump Threatens to Take Over Greenland, Citing National Security Concerns

 


US President Donald Trump is considering acquiring Greenland, citing national security concerns and the presence of Russian and Chinese ships in the area. 


Trump stated that the US must own Greenland to prevent Russia or China from occupying it, and that "we're going to do something on Greenland, whether they like it or not". 


The move has sparked concerns among European leaders, with Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, and the UK issuing a joint statement saying Greenland belongs to its people and only Denmark and Greenland can decide its fu

ture.
