Trump Warns Cuba: Make a Deal or Lose Venezuelan Oil

 


US President Donald Trump has warned Cuba that it will no longer receive oil or money from Venezuela, urging the island nation to strike a deal with Washington. "THERE WILL BE NO MORE OIL OR MONEY GOING TO CUBA - ZERO! I strongly suggest they make a deal, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE," Trump tweeted. Venezuela is Cuba's biggest oil supplier, but shipments have halted since Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro's capture by US forces. Cuba's President Miguel Diaz-Canel has responded defiantly, asserting Cuba's sovereignty.
